: * Prepares and provides EEG clinic preparation for early morning.

• Ensure consent is taken prior to any procedure.

• Explain procedures to patient with support of his/her language with PRO department staff (if needed). To check about any contraindication to the procedure & inform the Doctor if any.

• Conducts EEG recordings, nerve conduction studies, Assist Neurologist in EMG examination evoked response testing, polysomnographic recording, and monitoring of responses during patient testing.

• Participates in any QI activities and attend continuing education activity relevant to area of mandatory requirements.
• Maintains current knowledge of procedures and maintenance of new equipment and that all equipments are properly maintained.

• Maintain the stock of disposables which is needed in the department.

• Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures of NMCSH - Dubai.

• Performs other miscellaneous related duties as requested by the Head of the Department.

• To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations & Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.

Qualifications:Diploma/Certificate in EEG Technology preferable certified by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologies, and 1-2 years experience as an EEG technician.4.2 Current license in country of origin with DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E.

• Minimum 2 - 3 years experience as an EEG technician.

• Must be fluent in spoken & written English. Arabic speaking desirable but not essential.

• BLS trained.
