Our client, a dynamic government entity in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for an Education and Community Manager
Role:
- Review and develop the Education and Community Department\'s functions and resources, and ensure that all functions are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner - Delegate and monitor the functions, goals, objectives and programs - Plan, deliver and monitor effective event delivery across the full range of education programs/ events ensuring value for money and best practice in event delivery - Ensure timely and consistent implementation of educational programs/ events, assuring quality standards, monitoring deadlines, workflow and progress, identifying areas of risk and developing action plans to mitigate those risks - Ensure that policies and procedures for various projects and partnerships within the programmes are clear and documented and accurate records are kept of planning and correspondence - Identify the technological requirements of the Community and Education programmes section and ensure the sections process are performed efficiently and cost effectively - Prepare annual business planning process for the Education and Community Section - Brief all production, marketing and communications staff to enable them to successfully manage all the activities related to logistical requirements of designated projects/events within the community and education programmes - Communicate and coordinate with Marketing & Communications Department for all the activities related to publishing and PR & Marketing activities - In collaboration with Marcoms, facilitate the delivery of an effective marketing campaign for each program - Review and evaluate the work of staff under your supervision and ensure that resources are used effectively and that all activities comply with policies and procedures - Identify training needs of self and staff and ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs - Ensure the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the Education and Community Department including planning and executing recruitment of temporary personnel and volunteers - Build and manage relationships with community and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor\'s degree related to Arts, Education or Events - Minimum of 5 years\' relevant experience in an Arts Education or Community outreach/ public/ private organization/ foundation and demonstrable evidence of genuine interest in and passion for arts education and/or community outreach
