About the job Eddy Current InspectorWe are seeking a skilled Eddy Current Inspector with a strong understanding of NDT methods, specifically eddy current testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in eddy current inspection procedures, knowledge of acceptance criteria, and a thorough understanding of relevant standards and Inspection equipment. Additionally, the candidate should have practical experience in other NDT methods, such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).Responsibilities: * Perform eddy current inspections on a variety of components and materials to detect discontinuities or defects in compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Develop and review inspection procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.
Interpret inspection results and prepare detailed reports, including recommendations for corrective actions when required.
Ensure all inspections meet applicable acceptance criteria and maintain accurate records for audits and certifications.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain eddy current inspection equipment to ensure reliable performance and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with the Technical Manger to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct additional NDT inspections (MPI, PT, UT) as needed to support operations.
Stay updated on the latest developments, techniques, and standards in eddy current and other NDT methods.
Learn and perform other inspection activities for which the company holds approvals, such as lifting equipment inspections and pressure equipment inspections.
Attend internal training sessions and obtain authorization for the companys approved scopes of work.
Be willing to relocate as required to support operational needs.
Be prepared to work at both offshore and onshore sites, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry codes of practice during all inspection activities.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members, as required.
