  • Reporting to the Category Manager of FABS and issue monthly operational and statistical reports to FABS Management.
  • Responsible for the dealing managers and brokers of all clients.
  • Liaison responsibility with all enablement teams (Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance).
  • Liaison with internal Audit/Compliance Manager to ensure new and updated brokerage regulations are properly completed and updated to systems and Operational procedures.
  • Establish and adopt work strategies for all Executive Team to ensure corresponding to all trading activities of clients and investors.
  • Develop operational procedures for all Executive Team to ensure that only eligible clients and legitimate transactions are processed by the company.
  • Ensure Operational Policies and Procedures are updated with any rules and regulations introduced by the Regulating Authority or ADX and DFM and ensure they are properly adopted by the broker\'s team; this will include reviewing non-compliance instances with the internal audit /compliance manager and agreeing remedial actions.
  • Liaison with internal audit/compliance manager to ensure operational business processes are properly controlled in accordance with new updates.
  • Ensure sufficient resources are in place to support the trading activities at all locations, this will include funds, human resources and systems to facilitate the execution of business.
  • Ensure that human resources are sufficient at various locations to support the clients and investors promptly and accurately fulfil their clients trading instructions; this will include planning the staffing requirements at various locations in light of trading volumes.
  • Evaluate the performance of the brokers as per Company and bank policy.
  • Ensure that only qualified dealing managers and brokers are employed and are properly trained to improve their skills and to promote compliance with Code of Conduct, FABS Code of Ethics and FABS standards and rules.
  • Ensure that systems in place are properly controlled for any miss use by staff or by traders and they are properly updated to incorporate any updates on trading rules as instructed by the Regulating Authority or by ADX and DFM.
  • Liaison with Head of Customer Service to ensure that the CSRs at various locations are staffed and assist the brokers in any involvement in non-trading client issues.
  • Liaison with Operations Manager to ensure all trading activities and irregularities (alterations and cancelations) are properly recorded in back - office system.
  • Liaison with Category Manager on funds requirements to support trading limits and communicate the issue with ADX & DFM.
  • Manage the relations with key clients and ensure that best client services are offered at all times.
  • Provide overall guidance to all Executive Team in handling non-compliance issues and violations, including overall responsibility in clearing issues with ADX and DFM.
  • Approve the financial, administrative, personnel, purchasing and contracting transactions in accordance with the authority limits delegated to him.
  • Monitor and assess the trading function overall performance in comparison with the adhered strategies and taking corrective actions as deemed necessary.
  • Review operating results of the trading function, comparing them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results including the signing off on all executed trades at end of the day for all brokers.
  • Provide regular reports to the Category Manager on the conduct of operations and the performance of the company.
  • Review and monitor the daily executed transactions reports produced by the systems, agree with dealing managers and compare performance of the trading function against plans, analyse variances and take necessary action.
  • To work closely with IT functions and supervises all trading system requirements and issues that arise with the execution trading team.

  • A university certificate* along with experience for not less than (5) years in financial markets or in the relevant fields.
Or
  • A diploma certificate or less certificate along with experience for not less than (10) years in financial markets or in the relevant fields.
Minimum Experience:
  • 10 years of experience in managerial position, out of which 5 years in investment and securities market.
  • Should be a UAE Licensed broker and trading manager.
Required Skills:
  • Should have strong written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Should possess strong Leadership and planning skills.
  • Should possess strong public relations and marketing skills.
  • Should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop reporting teams.
  • Should have a strong ability to analyze financial statements, company\'s performance and the market economy and trends.
