Our client is a federal program that aims to increase the Emiratis contributions in the private sector The Economic Policy Researcher is expected to work under the overall guidance of Policies and Studies Manager to conduct analysis of economic data and trends while supporting in providing key economic policy reports pertaining to Emiratization agenda. S/he will focus on extending support in identifying global and regional critical policy areas for the company to take further, specifically translating data findings into actionable insights and recommendations. S/he is responsible for contributing to report development and facilitating economic research initiatives with key partners. Responsibilities: Create essential reports that offer insights and direction for the broader system, with a focus on enhancing economic growth and the employment status of the Emirati workforce. Contribute to the execution of evidence-based research for economic and labour market policy Support in producing reports that facilitate workforce planning and the connection between education strategies and labor market demand. Convert insights and data into research materials through MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other similar tools that help deliver actionable content to senior leadership. Provide assistance to the Research and Policies team in preparing reports and conducting socio-economic impact assessments related to the impact of broader economic reform, education, and other socio-economic initiatives and programs on the labour market and Emiratization. Support the Research and Polices team in collaborating with external stakeholders to develop comprehensive reports that support strategic workforce planning and facilitate effective alignment between education and labour market demands Support Labour and Employment Policy Chief Researcher and Policies & Studies Manager in publishing regular reports that outline the overall outcomes of programs aimed at Emiratization and guide the Emiratization ecosystem Conduct baselining and benchmarking exercises, extract best practices and key insights from developed research and present the developed materials to the senior leadership Support the Research and Policies team in conducting primary and secondary data collection Perform other duties as assigned by Labour and Employment Policy Chief Researcher and Policies and Studies Manager Daily interaction with team members Interaction with senior leadership as and when required Support the team in liasing with Federal and Local entities as well as private sector firms to discuss Emiratization-related matters, exchange feedback and knowledge Qualifications: A minimum of bachelor degree in economics, labour studies, public policy or any other related field, preferably with a relevant post-graduate degree 1-3 years of experience in Economics, Labour Market Analysis, Social Sector Policies, Employment Creation Ability to compile, analyze, and report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast labour market trends Ability to use innovative data analytics and data gathering methodologies Must have the proven ability to handle complex, unstructured problems in a rigorous, analytical fashion Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with experience in data analysis and presentation creation Any related certification.
