The ECommerce Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the online store, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and driving online sales growth. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the e-commerce platform, from product listing and inventory management to marketing and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
• Maintain and update the online store, including product listings, images, descriptions, and pricing.
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
• Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
• Oversee the functionality, design, and performance of the company's website.
• Regularly update website content, including product listings, banners, promotions, and blog posts.
• Ensure a seamless user experience (UX) by optimizing navigation, search functionality, and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement website improvements and resolve technical issues.
ECommerce Operations:
• Manage the e-commerce platform, including product uploads, inventory management, and pricing updates.
• Monitor and analyze online sales performance and customer behavior, providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to online purchases.
Digital Marketing:
• Develop and execute e-commerce marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Optimize the website for SEO to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
• Manage online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, social media ads, and email marketing.
• Leverage analytics tools to track campaign performance and ROI, making data-driven recommendations.
Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure accurate and appealing product descriptions and images.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align online promotions with broader marketing strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
Inventory and Order Management:
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
• Manage the order fulfillment process, including order processing, shipping, and handling returns/exchanges.
• Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels and avoid overstock or stockouts.
Digital Marketing:
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic to the online store and increase sales.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) and analyze their performance.
• Utilize email marketing, social media, and content marketing to engage with customers and promote products.
Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Implement and manage customer service tools, such as live chat, email support, and FAQs.
• Analyze customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Sales and Performance Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of online sales efforts.
• Generate sales reports and provide insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve sales performance and customer experience.
Content Management:
• Create and manage engaging content for the online store, including blog posts, product guides, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and content creators to produce high-quality visuals and copy.
Technical Coordination:
• Collaborate with IT and web development teams to implement website enhancements and new features.
• Ensure website security and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Stay updated with e-commerce technology trends and recommend relevant improvements.
Team Management:
• Supervise and train e-commerce staff, including customer service representatives and marketing assistants.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in managing an e-commerce platform or online store.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
