: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented eCommerce Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing accounts across various eCommerce platforms, such as Stripe , Noon , Amazon , Carrefour , and Tamara , and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with tax laws. You will also assist in the preparation of financial statements and manage daily operations to ensure smooth financial flow within our eCommerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Maintenance:
• Update financial records regularly using accounting software like Tally .
• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Payroll Assistance:
• Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
• Reconciliation Tasks:
• Perform regular reconciliation operations, especially for accounts linked with Stripe , Noon , Amazon , Carrefour , Tabby and Tamara , to maintain financial consistency.
• Data Accuracy and Accessibility:
• Review and update financial data in databases to ensure it is accurate, relevant, and accessible for future reference or requests.
• Reporting:
• Create and submit weekly and monthly reports on accounting and financial activities for internal and external stakeholders.
• Financial Statements Processing:
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in compliance with legal and company standards.
• E-Commerce Payment Systems Knowledge:
• Manage and reconcile transactions across eCommerce platforms such as Stripe , Noon , Amazon , Carrefour , and Tamara .
• Monitor daily payments, charges, refunds, and credits for accuracy.
• Tax Law Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, including VAT and Corporate Tax, as they apply to the e-commerce business.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in accounting, financial management, and taxation within the eCommerce sector.
• E-Commerce Payment Systems Knowledge:
• Strong familiarity with online trading platforms, payment tracking systems, and e-commerce payment sites such as Stripe , Noon , Amazon , Carrefour , and Tamara .
• Accounting Software Proficiency:
• Expertise in using ERP systems like Tally , SAP , Oracle , and Sage for financial management and reporting.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Excel , with the ability to present financial data clearly and efficiently.
• Time Management:
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders, including platform support teams.
• Tax Law Knowledge:
• Familiarity with relevant tax laws, including VAT and Corporate Tax, especially in relation to e-commerce businesses.
