Ultimately, its your job to maximise product visibility for customers to find and purchase products on our websites and apps.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESExecute digital action plans to develop SKU, brand, and sub-category performance online.Coordinate online product launches and maintain the active assortment. Ensure products launch on time as per the launch date.Optimize category, brand and SKU performance through analysis and merchandising changes.Monitor market trends and react through hands-on onsite merchandising update.Produce weekly, monthly, yearly performance reports (ad-hoc reports as well).Activate gifts with purchases and samples as per the trading calendar.Drive category visibility and implement planned calendar activities.Act as a Digital ambassador for Sephora across internal departments and with external brands.Catalogue Management
Ensure products launches are meeting their planned go live dates.
Always maintain current and active assortment online for all brands with regular checks to eliminate inactive SKUs and ensure sufficient stock inventory.
Proactively follow up identified assortment gaps, pricing queries, master data anomalies and technical bugs that reduce assortment availability.
Proactively suggest input on sales and stock forecasts for uplift periods and animations.
Share correct product ID information for Marketing and Activations teams activating visibility.
Prioritize publish or unpublish requests for products with compliance or other regulatory changes.
Regularly review the availability of discontinued product to inform when to finally delist.
Product Launch
Coordinate and execute product launches in line with target launch dates.
Proactively engage brands on launch timelines to ensure successful on time launches.
Receive and process brand listing documents with hands on follow up with Brands, Offer or Supply.
Ensure quality product information by actively checking copy, imagery and product attribute information to ensure it meets the Sephora standard and considers Arabic + English SEO.
Provide input on launch forecasts for eCommerce and follow up availability of opening stock.
Plan and share critical paths for high profile launches and conduct stakeholder walkthroughs.
Flag any risks ahead of time before the launch date.
Merchandising Optimisations
Commercially merchandise products and categories according to customer behaviour, and react swiftly to trends and market shifts including boosting product search placements.
Review analysis of category performance per country, ensuring strong understanding of SKU level performance differences and proactive merchandising updates that reflect the trends.
Regularly review the inbound traffic sources to the category, brands and key SKUs to understand the customer journey and prioritize improvements.
Routinely analyze global navigation user behavior and enhance through ongoing A/B tests on copy, hierarchy, and link updates.
Regularly rotate product visibility within category navigation and cross category sections including Newness, Bestsellers, Gifts + Offers.
Update product level attributes to ensure accurate and relevant filters on Product Listing Pages are optimized across parent category, subcategory, and brand pages.
Optimize site search weekly in response to search report data showing key word demand, trends, and no-results searches; actively update searchable attributes, hypernyms and synonyms.
Competitively shop online competitors to identify missing opportunities to improve category navigation, wording, search terms, content or visibility Conduct routine internal site visits to observe and gather observations from others on areas for improvement.
Conduct A/B tests on product related content where possible to better understand what work.
Product Content
Ensure all final content across product pages, listing pages, brand pages and other destinations is accurate and brand appropriate with a relevant customer focus.
Assess and source upgraded product assets to promote better image/video interaction on PDPs.
Work with brands to procure unique, SEO optimized content that drives better search rankings and sells product USPs to improve PDP add to basket rates.
Maintain quality checks on Arabic translations to ensure fully optimized local language content.
Build landing pages and propose category relevant editorial content to promote wider product engagement and fulfil SEO, Commercial, and Offer goals.
Monitor animation content interaction and actively feedback learns and recommendations.
Offers + Promotions
Ensure the setup of category specific offers and promotions with hands on creation in the CMS.
Follow up availability of stock to support the monthly animation plan for the category.
Liaise and cooperate with different functions to maintain timely and correct execution of launches, animations, and all other promotion activities with proactive issue resolution.
Ensure balanced brand representation online during key commercial events and coordinate with Offer and Marketing teams to ensure 360 activation alignment.
Support analysis and report on campaign performance for your category and portfolio of brands, proactively communicating results as swiftly as possible.
Define and share appropriate information to brands explaining impact of animations, promotions or gifting initiatives.
Influence product selection for emails, push notifications, and other product focused advertising that evenly represents your category, brands and SKU portfolio.
Input into the category animation calendar to ensure adequate support and visibility online.
Analysis & Reporting
Report weekly on category trade performance and KPIs with insight to explain why.
Provide analysis on the performance of new launches and outline associated recommendations for further improvement.
Analyse product mix and axis performance and share insights within eCommerce and to Offer teams with recommendations to improve the sales and maximise category share online.
Analyse customer product reviews and set a feedback loop for Offer teams.
Coordinate ad-hoc analysis of promotional activity, proactively feeding back suggestions to enhancer future performance.
Use data to find opportunities for increasing revenue and action changes that improve key metrics like add to basket, conversion, and average order value.
Support monthly and quarterly presentation preparation to help broader stakeholders understand digital category performance, commercial results, user behavior and trends.
Communication & Collaboration
Develop strong working relationship (marketing and supply chain are essential).
Act as an ambassador for Sephora Digital and proactively assist to build a digital community internally and across external brand partners.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONALITY
The successful candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience.
Ideally an experienced candidate from Retail/FMCG/Luxury/Fashion Industry.
Relevant insight into what moves the Beauty Customer to shop digitally and how to engage with customers to drive product excitement.
The candidate should have excellent commercial, content management and analytics skills with strong communication (written and oral) and clear presentation skills.
Arabic is a plus.
Team player and multitasker.
