This role will be crucial to the success of this business objective. The role is unique as it has the ability to impact the business directly and work hands on with the client and their most valued partners, the retailers. We have a great working relationship with the client team, have a very healthy business and have a great network across the globe to support.Responsibilities:
Demonstrate expertise in understanding the commerce landscape across MENA markets.
Develop and implement tailored commerce strategies for clients, considering their business objectives, readiness, and commerce maturity.
Offer solid and quantified digital commerce solutions to clients, aligning with their goals and objectives.
Oversee Retail Media Planning, Activation, and optimization. Be operationally sound and ensure proper operational resource planning across departments.
Provide oversight and management of client\'s commerce teams, ensuring day-to-day deliverables and planning were executed effectively.
Upskill the team\'s knowledge and capabilities to enhance their ability to serve clients and drive personal growth.
Work on expanding client\'s current scopes and identified new commerce solutions to drive business benefits.
Educate clients on emerging market trends and how they could be utilized to meet their business objectives.
Help commerce director with new business pitches and product development for the practice.
Ability to excel in a matrix environment, this role will require cross-functional collaboration between different practices within Nexus (Data & Tech, Programmatic, Performance, Content & SEO)
Responsible for tracking and optimizing client KPIs ensuring client satisfaction and facilitating client retention
Skills & Experience
6-8 years\' experience within the digital/eCommerce media space is preferred.
Has strong knowledge of Amazon and e-retail merchandising and media capabilities in the Middle East
FMCG, Retail, E-Commerce/Shoppers Market and Direct Response experience is a plus
Thorough understanding of various types of media specific, but not limited to digital, mobile, social media, digital content partnerships, e-commerce and video
Proficient in reporting and analytics - strong analytical and strategic thinker who can interpret data at a glance
An entrepreneurial spirit with the operational skills to ensure self-directed projects and ideas are seen through to execution.
Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
Excellent verbal and written skills
Exceptional organisational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
Assertive, creative, team player and proven sense of urgency
Ability to prioritise multiple demands (retailer, client, agency) simultaneously.
