Engineering Department



We have a great opportunity for an experienced Duty Engineer to join the team in our Engineering Department. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of engineering professionals.



What are we looking for?



Minimum 3 years' experience as a Duty Engineer or in a similar capacity.

Experience in 5Hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
Has a Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

An Efficient person with Attention to detail.

A warm and friendly character with Problem Solving skills.

Has a passion for Engineering.

Enjoys taking on a new challenge.

Willing to work on shift basis.

Communicates with fluency in English.

Lives and breathes the Shangri-La values.



What will you do?



Manage, coach and supervise the engineering technicians.

Ensure all equipment runs smoothly at all times

Carry out and prioritise emergency work requests

Support engineering projects through planning, supervision and execution

Support the audit and training programmes.

Implement and maintain Health and Safety standards and promote safety initiatives.

Supervises all specialist contractors, testing of systems identified, in accordance with the standard monthly checklist.

Maintains all records of testing, maintenance, and remedial work related to Engineering team.
