Job Description

The Ductman is responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining HVAC duct systems. This includes measuring and cutting materials, ensuring proper sealing, and adhering to safety and quality standards to provide efficient airflow and climate control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Duct Installation- Install ductwork for HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Assemble and secure metal and non-metal duct systems using appropriate tools and methods.
• Fabrication and Assembly - Measure, cut, and shape duct materials such as galvanized steel, aluminum, or flexible ductwork. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to construct and modify duct systems.
• Inspection and Maintenance - Inspect duct systems for leaks, blockages, or damage. Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to maintain system efficiency.
• Reading Plans and Blueprints - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan duct installation. Determine materials and tools required for projects based on designs.
• Sealing and Insulation - Seal joints and seams of ducts to prevent air leakage. Install insulation around ducts to maintain energy efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance - Follow workplace safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure all work meets building codes and standards.
• Collaboration - Work with engineers, contractors, and other HVAC technicians to complete projects. Provide updates on progress and report any issues.
• Technical Skills - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery. Familiarity with HVAC systems and airflow principles.
• Experience - Previous experience in ductwork installation or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications (Optional) - HVAC-related certifications or training in ductwork installation and maintenance are advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Ducting installation: 2 years (Required)
