Job Description

As a Drone Prototyping Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of drone prototypes for different use cases. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to the advancement of drone technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Assist in the design and fabrication of drone prototypes.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new drone technologies.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for prototype components.
• Testing and Evaluation:
• Conduct field tests to evaluate the performance of drone prototypes.
• Collect and analyze data from test flights to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during testing.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of design processes, test results, and modifications.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and findings to the team.
• Research and Development:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in drone technology and industry trends.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new drone applications.
• Conduct research on materials, components, and software for drone development.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy discussions.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in drone technology and unmanned aerial systems.
• Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and 3D printing.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronics, sensors, and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
