The Driving Range Assistant is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the driving range area, and ensuring the efficient operation of the facility. The assistant will handle various tasks, from customer service to equipment maintenance, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

1.

Customer Service

Greet and assist customers

: Provide a friendly and welcoming experience for all guests using the driving range.

Equipment assistance

: Help customers with renting golf clubs, tees, and golf balls.

Provide information

: Answer questions about the range, pricing, hours, and other services offered.

Ensure a positive customer experience

: Ensure customers are comfortable, informed, and satisfied with their experience.

Range Maintenance

Collect golf balls

: Use ball pickers or machines to retrieve golf balls from the range and return them to the ball dispensers.

Refill ball dispensers

: Ensure that the ball dispensers are stocked with enough balls for customers to use.

Maintain cleanliness

: Keep the range tidy by cleaning up trash, debris, and ensuring the area is free of hazards.

Organize and clean equipment

: Clean and maintain golf clubs, tees, and other equipment available for use by customers.

Safety Management

Monitor range safety

: Ensure customers are following range safety guidelines, including proper behavior, no horseplay, and correct use of equipment.

Enforce range etiquette

: Make sure customers are taking turns, hitting in the correct order, and are respectful of each other.

Respond to emergencies

: Be alert to any accidents or emergencies and assist as needed, including notifying management or emergency services when necessary.

Facility Maintenance

Maintain tee boxes and hitting areas

: Regularly check the condition of the range, ensuring the tee boxes and hitting areas are in good shape for customers.

Monitor range equipment

: Check the condition of the range equipment, including ball dispensers, tees, and ball pickers, and report any malfunctions.

Manage storage

: Ensure that golf clubs and other equipment are stored properly when not in use.

Inventory and Equipment Handling

Track equipment usage

: Keep a record of rental equipment such as golf clubs and other items.

Assist with restocking

: Report any equipment shortages or damage and help restock supplies as needed.

Minor repairs

: Handle simple maintenance tasks like replacing broken tees, repairing damaged balls, or cleaning and organizing clubs.

Weather and Scheduling Monitoring

Track weather conditions

: Monitor weather conditions and inform customers of any closures due to rain, storms, or other adverse weather.

Assist with scheduling

: Help schedule group events, lessons, or special range sessions as required.
8.

Team Collaboration

Work with other staff

: Collaborate with other driving range assistants, golf course employees, or management to ensure smooth operation.

Assist in other duties

: Help with other tasks around the golf course or facility as needed, including supporting golf instructors or other departments.
9.

Reporting Issues

Report damages

: Immediately report any damaged equipment, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate management personnel.

Provide feedback

: Share customer feedback or suggestions with management to improve the service and experience.
10.

Other Duties as Assigned

General duties

: Perform other miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervisors, including assisting with events, preparing materials for golf lessons, or helping with special promotions or tournaments.

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
