Position Overview :
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students the skills and knowledge necessary to become safe and responsible drivers. The role requires a high level of professionalism, patience, and communication skills. The instructor will ensure compliance with the regulations set forth by the UAE traffic laws and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Key Responsibilities :

• Driving Lessons : Teach individuals to drive safely, following the regulations set by the UAE's RTA. This includes preparing students for the theoretical and practical driving tests.
• Road Safety Education : Educate students on traffic laws, road signs, safe driving practices, and defensive driving techniques.
• Assessment and Evaluation : Monitor student progress, assess their driving abilities, and provide constructive feedback.
• RTA Test Preparation : Ensure that students are adequately prepared for their RTA driving test and follow the required steps to help them succeed.
• Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure that the training vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Record Keeping : Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and results of driving tests.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, laws, and regulations as mandated by UAE law and the RTA.
• Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing students' questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Continuous Professional Development : Stay up to date with the latest changes in UAE traffic laws, driving techniques, and RTA regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Educational Qualifications :
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications :
• Must hold a valid UAE Driving Instructor License issued by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
• A valid UAE driving license for the relevant vehicle class (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, etc.).
• Additional certifications in Defensive Driving , First Aid , or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
• Experience :
• At least 2 years of experience as a driving instructor in the UAE or a similar role.
• Proven experience in teaching new drivers and preparing them for practical driving exams.
• Knowledge :
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Understanding of the RTA's procedures for driver licensing and testing.
• Ability to evaluate students' driving skills and provide effective feedback.
• Skills :
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and the ability to handle students of various skill levels.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.

Important Legal Requirements for Driving Instructors in the UAE :

• RTA Certification : Instructors must obtain an RTA Driving Instructor License, which is mandatory to legally teach driving in the UAE.
• UAE Driving License : The instructor must hold a valid UAE driving license, which must be of the appropriate class for the type of vehicle being taught (Light Motor Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, etc.).
• Health & Safety : Instructors must comply with safety regulations and protocols for both themselves and their students, including vehicle checks and maintaining a clean driving environment.
• Training Period : A minimum of 2 years of driving experience is typically required to apply for a driving instructor license.
