Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, passengers, or materials in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities : 1. Transportation :

• Safely transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations on time.
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery or pickup based on schedules.

2. Vehicle Maintenance :

• Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights.
• Keep the vehicle clean, both inside and out, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Schedule and coordinate regular vehicle servicing and repairs.

3. Compliance :

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain valid licenses, permits, and certifications required for the role.
• Ensure proper handling of delivery documents, invoices, and receipts.

4. Safety and Security :

• Ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and the vehicle at all times.
• Take precautions to secure cargo and prevent damage during transit.
• Report any accidents, delays, or unusual occurrences promptly.

5. Customer Service :

• Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful.
• Communicate effectively with clients or passengers regarding delivery or trip updates.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license [specify type, e.g., CDL if required].
• Proven experience as a driver (passenger transport, delivery, etc.).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to read maps, use GPS, and follow directions efficiently.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with the local area and routes.
• Ability to handle basic vehicle troubleshooting (e.g., changing a tire, checking oil).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
