Job Description

1. Job Purpose

The Driver cum Installation Technician is responsible for safe product transportation, and proper installing, testing and commissioning of the appliances sold to the customer. Driver cum Installation Technician provides product demonstration to the customer and explains the usage and product handling up to the level of satisfaction of the customer.

2. Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Schedule delivery and installation appointments with customers in the morning, ensuring efficient coordination.
• Safely and efficiently transport home appliances to customer locations within the designated area.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining professionalism during customer interactions.
• Deliver, install, and commission appliances to customers' satisfaction.
• Perform on-site installation and setup of various home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Brief customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed appliances.
• Demonstrate product features to customers and hand over accessories, ensuring their understanding of product usage.
• Write detailed reports, clean the area, and obtain customer signatures on delivery notes, invoices, and reports upon installation completion.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and customer interactions.
• Report customer feedback or issues to the logistics supervisor or Technical Supervisor for further assistance.
• Drive responsibly, adhere to MHAO Health and Safety Policy, and maintain the company truck in good condition
• Return all documents to the logistics supervisor for further processing.

• Execute tasks and activities that support the strategic plans set by higher management.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve team objectives, fostering a supportive and cohesive work environment.

Participate in opportunities to enhance job-specific skills and knowledge, aiding personal and organizational growth.

• Follow governance policies and procedures and assist in ensuring compliance with HR, legal, and risk guidelines.

3. Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing domestic home appliances.
• Proven experience in appliance installation and customer service.

Educational Qualifications and Certifications

• High school certificate or equivalent Technical Institute Diploma
• Ability to demonstrate the use of the appliances to the customers
• Valid UAE driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
