Job Description

  • Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival
  • Open car doors for arriving and departing guests and escort them to the lobby
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and services and supply information and respond to guest queries
  • Ensure effective handover is done, gaining information from earlier shift
  • Forward all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty
  • Perform any trips and drives with the hotel car / bus as requested
  • Control all guests\' car keys
  • Ensure that an effective handover is made to the night shift in conjunction with the early Shift Leader
  • Establish, promote and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations
  • Maintain the parking spaces and key cabinet and ensure cleanliness is to the maximum
  • Ensure that airport / crew transportation flow is maintained effectively
  • To assist guest with their luggage on arrival and departure as well as handling mail and information.
  • To be smart, well groomed, punctual and name tag to be worn at all times.
\xc2\xb7 To be pleasant, courteous and hospitable to all guests at all times
  • To see that luggage of both arriving and departing guest are handled properly.
\xc2\xb7 When rooming the guest, call guest by name and explain all facility both of the hotel and the room. \xc2\xb7 Storing guest luggage as and when required. \xc2\xb7 Lobby area is kept clean and tidy at all times. \xc2\xb7 To be fully familiar with all hotel facilities. \xc2\xb7 Cheerfully carries out request from receptionist, such as room charges and another guest. \xc2\xb7 Reporting on any unusual situations or mechanical defects to supervisor. \xc2\xb7 To ensure key card are collected as much as possible on guest departure. \xc2\xb7 Receptionist to be tactfully informed of guest with scanty luggage. \xc2\xb7 Carry out other duties they may be assigned by Superior. Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
  • Valid UAE driving license (Preferred)
