Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Drive Test Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting drive tests and analyzing data to optimize network performance for our clients. The Drive Test Engineer will work closely with our network engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our clients\' networks.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct drive tests using specialized equipment and software to collect data on network performance.
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify network issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with network engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
- Perform post-installation tests to ensure new network equipment is functioning properly.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve network performance.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on network performance and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of drive test results.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Drive Test Engineer in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience with drive test equipment and software, such as TEMS, Nemo, or SwissQual.
- Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
- Familiarity with network optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments.
