Job Responsibilities

Directs the Drilling Superintendents and ensures all programs are executed in a safe and efficient manner. Directs the Engineering team and ensures compliance to the established Well Delivery Process. Reviews and approves corporate standards related to E&P activities. Ensures routine updates of standards and processes. Ensures compliance with established standards and processes. Keeps records of any dispensations. Works closely with other department leaders to ensure alignment of goals. Works closely with subordinates to ensure operational feasibility and efficiency of the programs. Communicates effectively to ensure all objectives of the programs, policies and standards are understood by all concerned parties. Reviews and updates drilling plans to ensure availability of resources, rigs and equipment. Performs regular wellsite inspections to ensure safety programs are conducted and monitored by the drilling contractors in a manner consistent with HSE policies. Reviews and technically approves evaluation of contracts for drilling rigs and other drilling services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
