Job Description

The Role

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy. In this position you would be responsible for the following: o Perform drifting inspections on OCTG products, including casing and tubing, to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. o Conduct final and in-process inspections from marking, tracing, to final release, ensuring all quality control measures are met. o Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment to verify dimensional accuracy, thread quality, and overall product integrity. o Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to perform accurate inspections. o Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of all inspections performed. o Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies or non-conformities identified during inspections. o Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on inspection processes and participating in quality improvement projects. o Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing inspection activities.



Requirements

To be successful you would ideally possess: o Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years specifically in OCTG premium threading operations. o Mechanical trade certification or diploma in a related field is required. o Proven experience in final and in-process inspection lines within an OCTG or drilling products manufacturing environment. o Familiarity with precision measurement tools and equipment used in dimensional inspection (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). o Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards relevant to the oil and gas industry. o Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. o Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. o Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
