Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Production Coordinator/Draughtsman to join our team at STEEL DISTRICT Glass & Aluminum Installation LLC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication, focusing on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, and be proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the metal fabrication process, including tasks such as cutting, welding, and assembling components from Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
• Assist in planning and prioritizing work orders to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Use CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, to create and modify shop drawings for fabrication, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.
• Develop and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications for projects.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to ensure project deadlines and production targets are met.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and provide feedback and training to team members as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the fabrication process.
• Prepare reports on production activities, including work-in-progress, completed projects, and any issues or challenges encountered.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in the procurement of materials, factory consumables, and related supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment to support production operations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field, focusing on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum materials.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, bending, and finishing.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
