Draughtsman
Job Description
• Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models for furniture, wooden doors, cabinets, wardrobes, TV units, shelves, and other wooden products.
• Interpret client requirements, architectural plans, and design briefs to create accurate designs.
• Work closely with the design team, production department, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Modify and update designs based on feedback from clients or internal teams.
• Determine material requirements and specifications for each design.
• Provide accurate measurements, dimensions, and cut lists to support production.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and design revisions.
• Prepare detailed production manuals, assembly guides, and design documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry best practices.
• Identify and address potential design or production issues before manufacturing begins.
• Use software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant design tools for drafting and modeling.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and tools.
