We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Draftsman and Estimator. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

Create detailed and accurate 2D drawings using AutoCad, MS Visio and D-tools

Collaborate with other team members to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

Estimation:

Assist in preparing project cost estimates and proposals by analysing project specifications and requirements.

Collaborate with the project management team to gather and assess necessary information for accurate estimations.

Stay informed about industry trends and material costs to provide up-to-date and accurate estimates.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for drawings and estimations.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

When required, meet with the client to discuss the project, throughout all stages.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Assist in the identification and resolution of design and estimation issues to maintain project timelines.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

You MUST be UAE resident, or currently in the UAE on a tourist visa.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, supported with some certifications and work experience

NOTE: You WILL be tested on this

Basic understanding of project estimation principles.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

We are currently located in Motor City, however, we will soon (within 1 month) be moving to Arenco Buildings in DIP.

It is therefore essential that you have easy access to DIP, Dubai, as this will be your main place of work.

A UAE driver's license and vehicle would be beneficial, but not essential.
