Job Description

:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with expertise in Tekla Structures to join our dynamic team. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings for steel, concrete, and other structures, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tekla modelling and a thorough understanding of engineering drawings, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other design professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures, including structural steel, concrete, and other building materials. Create accurate and high-quality fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and as-built drawings. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design integrity and compliance with project specifications. Coordinate and resolve any design conflicts or issues that arise during the drafting process. Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure all designs meet required standards. Ensure that all Tekla models are up-to-date and in alignment with project timelines and quality control procedures. Provide support to the fabrication and construction teams with any necessary drawings or modifications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Draftsman, with a focus on Tekla Structures (minimum of 1 year preferred). Strong proficiency in Tekla modelling and detailing software. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and collaboration tools. Knowledge of structural steel, concrete, and other materials used in construction. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, codes, and standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Knowledge of advanced Tekla features such as automation and scripting. Familiarity with construction and fabrication processes.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
