Required for a building contracting company in Sharjah, Draftsman with at least 15 years of experience inside UAE and can join immediately-

We are seeking a talented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. Draftsman will play a key role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of principles, excellent drafting skills, and proficiency in CAD software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects and collaborate with experienced.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with architects and designers to develop preliminary designs and concepts.

2. Translate conceptual sketches and ideas into accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.

3. Produce plans, elevations, sections, and details for construction documentation.

4. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.

5. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on feasibility and constructability.

6. Assist in the preparation of presentations, renderings, and other visual materials.

7. Coordinate with project teams and external consultants to integrate and other technical requirements into drawings.

8. Calculating dimensions and performing measurements by visiting construction sites as and when needed

9. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and technologies in designs

10. Ensuring that the technical drawings have correct measurements, codes, and calculations mentioned

11. Maintain organized files and documentation for efficient project management.

12. Support the construction administration phase by responding to requests for information (RFIs) and reviewing shop drawings as needed.

13. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in drafting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in drafting, or related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years in the UAE.

Proven experience as an draftsman or similar role in firm.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.

Strong understanding of principles, construction techniques, and building systems.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members.

Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
