Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman (Mechanical) to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in drafting and design, preferably within the UAE market, or 2-3 years of relevant experience in their home country. The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, layouts, and schematics based on engineering specifications. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with engineers and project teams to create accurate drawings for mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed mechanical drawings, plans, and designs based on project specifications and engineering guidelines using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Technical Support: Assist engineers in translating concepts and designs into precise, clear, and readable drafts.
• Collaborate with Engineering Team: Work closely with engineers to ensure that all designs and plans align with technical requirements and client specifications.
• Review and Revise Drafts: Ensure that all drafts are accurate, up to date, and adhere to project timelines. Make revisions as required during the design phase.
• Prepare Layouts: Prepare and present layouts for mechanical systems, piping systems, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components in line with project specifications.
• Quality Control: Verify dimensions, materials, and other technical aspects of drafts to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate records of all drafts, drawings, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs meet local building codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (equivalent qualifications may also be considered).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
