Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Draftsman with a strong background in joinery and woodwork design. The ideal candidate will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and production teams to create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and plans. You will play a key role in ensuring that our joinery projects are executed to the highest standards, from initial design through to production.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create detailed and accurate technical drawings for custom joinery projects using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Work closely with clients, designers, and engineers to translate ideas and concepts into functional, manufacturable designs.
• Ensure that all drawings are in compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Revise and update drawings as required, incorporating feedback from clients, project managers, and production teams.
• Prepare material lists, cutting schedules, and other technical documentation for production.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Ensure that all designs meet quality standards and are feasible within project timelines.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for design-related issues during the production phase.
• Maintain an organized library of project drawings and documentation.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, specifically in a joinery or carpentry environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
• Solid understanding of joinery design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, techniques, and material properties is a plus.
• Relevant qualification or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing setting is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
