Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team at Nest interior decoration. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating technical drawings and plans for various construction and engineering projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and designers to bring project concepts to life. The Draftsman will play a crucial role in ensuring that all designs meet required specifications, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans based on the requirements and specifications provided by architects, engineers, or project managers.
• Create 2D and 3D drafts for various building projects, including but not limited to residential, commercial, and industrial designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, safety standards, and building codes in the UAE.
• Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback and project changes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce high-quality technical drawings, including AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference and quality control.
• Ensure that all technical documents are accurately maintained and filed.
• Assist in conducting site visits and measurements as necessary to gather data for design purposes.
• Provide technical support to other departments as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the construction, architecture, or engineering industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and technical drawing conventions.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to produce both 2D and 3D drawings.
• Knowledge of project management tools and processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in both English (spoken and written), with proficiency in Arabic being a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500\.00 - AED4,000\.00 per month
