Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with a strong background in civil and landscape design, coupled with experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and landscape designers to produce accurate and detailed drawings and models that meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed drawings, plans, and models for civil and landscape projects using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design intent and ensure accurate representation of concepts in drawings.
• Prepare 2D and 3D design documents, including site plans, grading plans, and landscape layouts.
• Review and incorporate feedback from engineers, architects, and stakeholders to refine designs.
• Maintain project documentation, ensuring all drawings are up-to-date and reflect changes accurately.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil and landscape design and BIM.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum Experience of at least 4 years in Drafting with BIM.
• Proven experience as a draftsman in civil and landscape design, with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and traditional drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, landscape architecture, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings and models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and principles in landscape architecture.
• Certification in relevant software or techniques (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
