Job Title: Draftsman - Road and Infrastructure

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsman to join our team and contribute to our road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, with specific experience in roadways, highways, and related infrastructure. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design:
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans for road and infrastructure projects using CAD software.
• Develop cross-sections, profiles, and layout plans based on engineering specifications.
• Modify and update existing drawings as needed, incorporating design changes and revisions.
• Technical Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design criteria.
• Review and interpret engineering calculations and specifications to ensure accuracy in drafting.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct thorough checks of drawings and plans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
• Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in the drawings before finalizing.
• Project Documentation:
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and reports for project reviews and client meetings.
• Compliance:
• Ensure that all drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated with changes in relevant codes and standards to incorporate into drafts as needed.
