Job Description

Create technical 2D & 3D drawings using the optimum software e.g. AutoCAD, Solid Works, 3D Max, Maya based on given specifications and calculations from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits. Operate the CNC machines whenever required.

Operate the Router & CNC machines whenever required.

Assist CNC operators to get the drawings ready for CNC cutting.

Coordinate with plant engineer on daily basis to assure all orders are ready on time.

Seamlessly into grating and working with managers design consultants, and sub-contractors, to produce and alter drawings.

Thinking creatively and critically to support the production team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.

Creating and continually updating production drawings lists.

Printing various formats of drawing sets for production.

Systematically saving sketches and drawings on our CAD server; keeping the server organized; updating folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.

Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent to next operation, etc.

Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers when you are not 100% certain of something.

Create, edit, and update standard details for use in production.
