: Draftsman

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Ohana Development is seeking a highly talented CAD Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Utilizing CAD workstations to create Landscape Architectural drawings including basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, and isometrics from rough sketches and general engineering/design information, adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with codes and company policies by utilizing technical manuals and directives.
• Familiarizing oneself with relevant standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
• Compiling data and performing necessary dimensional and routine calculations for drawing preparation.
• Proficiently reading orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs as well as supplier/manufacturer drawings.
• Performing other duties associated with the role as required.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma or ITI Certificate in Civil / Draughtsman (3 years) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in drafting on Landscape and Tower Infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Mandatory computer skills and proficiency in design software.
