Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman with a strong background in Civil Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on preparing accurate drawings, developing innovative designs, and applying engineering calculations to support various civil engineering projects. This role involves collaboration with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality and precise technical outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing & Design Preparation:
• Develop detailed technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) for civil engineering projects.
• Translate project requirements into accurate, clear, and comprehensive designs.
• Create 2D and 3D models to visualize design concepts and project outcomes.
• Engineering Calculations:
• Perform and incorporate basic design calculations, such as load analysis, dimensions, and material specifications, into technical drawings.
• Ensure calculations align with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Design Review & Optimization:
• Review designs to ensure accuracy, functionality, and cost-efficiency.
• Propose improvements or alternative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain organized records of drawings, calculations, and revisions.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in civil engineering or related projects.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
• Knowledge of engineering calculations and ability to integrate them into designs.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
