Position: DOSM - Director of Sales & Marketing
CØMP?NIUM Hospitality is an Executive Search, specialised on Executive positions within the Hospitality industry, for top luxury hotel brands. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a DOSM for a luxury hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Job Overview:
As the DOSM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness for their luxury hotel in Marrakesh. You will oversee a team of sales and marketing professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving our goals. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Requirements French / English speakers Experience in luxury hotel groups as DOSM Experience with all Sales segments, especially Leisure High-end Experience in a luxury International resort
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase brand awareness Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed Work closely with other departments, including revenue management, operations, and finance, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to sales and marketing efforts Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competition Plan and execute sales and marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and special events Monitor and analyze sales and marketing data to track performance and make adjustments as needed Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management on sales and marketing efforts and results Manage the sales and marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve goals Stay up-to-date on the latest sales and marketing techniques and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, in the luxury hospitality industry Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies Experience managing a team and working collaboratively with other departments Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken Knowledge of the Marrakesh / Morocco market and luxury hotel industry is a plus
