Job Description

• Health Assessments : Conduct health screenings and assessments for students, including vision, hearing, and growth checks, to identify any health concerns.
• First Aid and Emergency Care : Provide immediate first aid and emergency care for injuries and acute illnesses that occur during school hours.
• Chronic Disease Management : Assist students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies, managing medications and monitoring their health needs.
• Medication Administration : Safely administer medications to students per doctor's orders and school policies, keeping accurate records of each dose given.
• Health Education : Educate students, parents, and staff on health topics, including hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
• Infection Control : Implement and monitor infection control practices to prevent the spread of illness, especially during outbreaks of communicable diseases.
• Health Records Maintenance : Maintain confidential health records for all students, documenting immunizations, health assessments, and any care provided.
• Health Plans Development : Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with special health needs.
• Referral and Follow-Up : Refer students to healthcare providers as necessary and follow up to ensure they receive the care they need.
• Crisis Intervention : Provide support during mental health or behavioral crises, collaborating with counselors and other staff for student well-being.
• Compliance with Health Regulations : Ensure the school complies with local health regulations, including immunization requirements and health policies.
• Support Healthy School Environment : Advocate for policies and programs that promote a healthy, safe, and inclusive environment for students and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• nursing: 3 years (Required)
• Urology/Pediatric: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• DOH License or Evaluation (Required)
