Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Site Based: Habshan
Working Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM Including Lunch Break
Working Days: 6 Days per week

Job description
The Document Controller has established the skills to perform various day-to-day activities. The Document Controller can recognize and solve typical General Services problems with limited supervisory approval. They are tasked with evaluating and selecting solutions from established options. Their work directly impacts their team through the quality of the services or information provided.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Document Management lead in completing the day-to-day project activities
Develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work
Accurately track, log, and distribute releases of both internal and external documentation, including metadata
Archive project records
Index and distribute project documents in an accurate and timely manner
Become familiar with pertinent aspects of the contract and Project Information Management Requirements
Reads and implements project-specific information management procedures and work instructions
Identify information management issues or areas of improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor s Degree in any stream or equivalent diploma (preferably in Computer Science)
Minimum 3 years in Document Management experience with major EPC contractor.
Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil and Gas contracting industry.
Strong understanding of document control processes, standards, and best practices.
Must have proficiency in document management software ACONEX.
