Aldar Education is currently seeking a Document Controller to support the Finance department in Aldar Education HQ. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Minimum Experience
  • Proven Work Experience as a Document Controller or similar
  • Preferably a background working in Finance departments
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Oracle / ERP.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)/SharePoint
  • Data organization skills
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivation, organizational and training abilities are used often.

  • Communication and Presentation
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

Main Duties
  • To provide an effective Finance-related support function to the School Accountants and HQ Finance Team.
  • To support Accounts Payable Accountant - Charter Schools Finance.
  • To continuously strive to exceed internal & external customer expectations, while embracing the Aldar Education Core Values.
  • To embody the values, vision and ethos of Aldar Education and assist the Charter Schools Finance team in implementing processes and policies which will ensure high quality and successful outcomes.
  • Photocopying, printing, and scanning of documents.
  • Sorting of invoices and organizing file cabinets.
  • Keep documents in sequence for easy tracking and auditing.
  • Assisting accounts payable officer, creating payment disbursement reports.
  • Record Accounts payable and Bank payments in an Excel sheet.
  • Personally visit and deposit pension payments to the bank, own account transfers, Bank letters and forms for services and updates on an urgent basis.
  • Ensure to meet the timeline for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting documentation tracking requirements set by Charter School Finance
  • Support CS School Accountants, OM & Principal wherever possible to ensure smooth finance operation.
  • Act as a backup for CSF Team and manage the activities in member's absence.
Specific Duties
  • Screening and reviewing of submitted supplier invoices.
  • Reviewing supporting documents for invoices on Oracle Fusion.
  • Maintaining a contact directory of suppliers.
  • Create Excel sheets for document transfers and prepare the documents for bank online approvals with proper referencing.
  • Prepare salary cheques and seek necessary approvals before releasing them.
  • identify process improvements and work together with the school team.
