We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Permit and NOC Coordinator to join our engineering consultancy. The candidate will be responsible for managing and issuing building permits and coordinating NOCs (Non-Objection Certificates) at various project stages, primarily from Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Development Authority (DDA). This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the regulatory processes.
We offer flexibility for this position: Candidates can choose between full-time, on-site employment or remote work, as long as they can commit to our business hours in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the submission and follow-up of building permits and NOCs through DM and DDA.
• Coordinate with various internal teams, freelancers, and external agencies to ensure all documents are collected on time for permit applications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all permits and approvals.
• Serve as the main point of contact for coordinating with different agencies (such as RTA, Civil Defense, and DEWA) for acquiring the necessary NOCs.
• Manage the documentation required for different stages of the project.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of all permit submissions and approvals.
• Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with freelancers and teams across various disciplines.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling building permits and NOCs within Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of DM and DDA permit processes, including coordination between multiple agencies.
• Bachelor's degree or certificate in Civil Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple permits and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in relevant online portals (Dubai Municipality, DDA).
Optional Qualifications (Preferred, Leading to Higher Salary):
• Experience with permits from other agencies such as RTA, Civil Defense, or DEWA.
• Familiarity with building permit systems in other Emirates.
• Background in Civil Engineering.
• Basic drafting skills (e.g., AutoCAD) for assisting with minor design updates.
• Knowledge of structural design principles.
