dnata is one of the worldxe2x80x99s largest air and travel services providers; offering ground handling, cargo, travel and catering & retail services at over 130 airports in more than 30 countries across six continents.As Divisional Vice President UAE dnata Cargo you will be accountable for driving and executing strategies that grow the UAE Cargo business and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for day to day Cargo operations ensuring efficient handling, storage and transportation of goods at DXB (Dubai International Airport) and DWC (Dubai World Central xe2x80x93 Al Maktoum International) airports.In this role, you will:

• Drive revenue generation by identifying and establishing new business opportunities, partnerships and optimising existing routes or services.
• Develop DWC as future hub for dnata by liaising closely with Dubai Airports to understand their strategic plans for AMI 2050 (Al Maktoum International). Develop and implement a transition readiness strategy.
• Oversee cargo facility development and enhancement at DXB and DWC.
• Plan, develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with UAE airlines, freight forwarder community, authorities and airlines including Emirates and Fly Dubai, liaising with other organisations operating at DXB and DWC airports to ensure business objectives are fulfilled.
• In collaboration with Chief Cargo Officer dnata Airport Operations, create and execute the global Cargo strategy in the UAE.
• Lead the adoption of technology and innovation to improve tracking, logistics, and reporting capabilities.
• Implement dCOM (dnata Cargo Operational Manual) framework and processes allowing dnata Cargo to maximise operational and commercial synergies.
• Accountable for the adoption of Safety Management System (SMS) throughout dnata UAE cargo ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to manage safety risks.
• Oversee the development and implementation of new high value product lines ensuring risks are effectively mitigated by adhering to established rules and protocols. Maintain compliance with international, federal and local regulations related to cargo handling, transportation and safety.
• Prepare, manage and monitor UAE cargo budget ensuring optimum profitability and cost efficiency.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• A degree or honours qualification is required; ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, or an aviation-related field
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Airport Operations or Cargo Handling with an international airline or ground handling agent, of which at least 6 years in a senior leadership role is preferred
