Preparation of dissected and cadaveric specimens for academic staff and medical students for practical sessions in Gross Anatomy Regular treatment of isolated human specimens with preserving solutions and housekeeping Daily maintenance of cold room in hygienic state Regular treatment of dissected materials to ensure that anatomy specimens remain in good condition Keeping records of cadavers, models, dissected and plastinated materials used for teaching. Ensure that Dissecting Room facilities are maintained in good and hygienic condition Setting up Gross Anatomy materials (cadavers, prosected) required for each Gross Anatomy class. Providing Gross Anatomy specimens and Audiovisual facilities for medical students during revision sessions Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Minimum Qualification
Knowledge of advanced principles, practices, and procedures of laboratory testing and analysis. * Knowledge of safe laboratory practices. * Knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and terminology. * Knowledge of computer and word processing/database/spreadsheet software. * Good organization and time management skills. * Good oral and written communication and training skills. * Ability to maintain accurate records regarding events, outcomes, and the associated data. * Ability to perform complex mathematical and statistical computation and analysis * Ability to exercise independent judgement. * Ability to introduce/develop new technologies/laboratory methods. * Ability to troubleshoot complex experimental problems * Possess a high level of technical expertise in at least one specific area of research or research core facility* Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant scientific field OR higher degree PLUS 5 year of relevant experience. * Evidence of leadership/management quality.
