Job Title: Dishwasher

Location : Al Nahda Second Dubai

Reports to : Kitchen Manager / Head Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Washing and Sanitizing:

- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machines or manual cleaning methods.

- Ensure all items are appropriately sanitized, stored, and ready for use.

2. Maintaining Cleanliness:

- Keep dishwashing station, sinks, floor mats, and garbage cans clean and organized.

- Clean kitchen equipment, appliances, and the kitchen floor according to sanitation standards.

3. Waste Management :

- Properly dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

- Replace garbage can liners as needed.

4. Support Kitchen Operations:

- Assist kitchen staff with the preparation of food as needed.

- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and alerting management when supplies are low.

5. Safety and Compliance :

- Follow all health and safety regulations and adhere to food safety standards.

- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management.

Qualifications:

- No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not necessary.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Team player with effective communication skills.

Working Conditions:

- Work may require extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be able to handle high heat, humidity, and steam.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
