Serves as a subject matter expert for supply chain functions such as contracting, procurement, and logistics.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Contract, Procurement & Logistics strategy for the contract and any follow on work
- Conduct make/buy analysis of the compamy scope of work and implement approved outcome
- Subcontracting strategies to include risk mitigation and cost optimization strategies
- Establish and manage required subcontracts within the group entities for product and service delivery
- Establish and manage required subcontracts with external providers for program logistics.
- Develop reporting metrics for all suppliers and establish regular cadence for contract performance reviews including quality standard and on time delivery performance
- Conduct supplier audits on site as required
- Support program reporting reviews with the Program Director
- Manage the bidding process and formulation of the documentation, bidding, contracting and negotiation of subcontracts
- Support other Supply Chain activity or initiatives for the Cluster as required
- Manage employees in the department in performing their delegated tasks
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Business Management, preferably Master degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in public or private sector organization
- Preferably defense services experience in a supply chain function
