Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and implement sponsorship strategy to suit brand and product needs/requirements
• Develop and implement live communication initiatives
• Develop and implement real time engagement platforms such as du Live, du Fitness, du Tuesday etc.
• Develop and implement commercial and corporate events such as sales roadshows, consumer events etc.
• Perform post-event evaluation and reporting
• Monitor effectiveness of initiatives including quality, reach and acceptance of messages communicated
• Own Social media strategy, platforms and performance
• Influencers management
• Launch propositions on Social media in alignment with Mark. Comms. And Segments
• Manage Social media agencies
• Manage events/activations on social media
• Manage live coverage of du events on Social media
• Social Media sentiment tracking (brand perception in the market via social media)
Qualifications, experience and skills:
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelors in in Mass Communications or related field
Experience:
• Minimum 7 to 12 years of experience of similar role in Digital marketing/ Digital Communication/ ideally within the Telecommunication industry
• 3+ years of which are managerial experience
• Sound understanding of communication processes, the UAE market and best practices
• Proven and demonstrably successful track record of delivering projects on time and on or under budget
• Good understanding of technical aspects of web development, analytics, UI/ UX, digital media and social media
Skills:
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Confidence and ability to inspire management at all levels throughout the company
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written in both Arabic and English
• Strong organisational ability and project management skills - certification in project management is preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation as well as with external and internal partners and stakeholders
• Ability to analyse and prepare post analysis reports linked to KPI's
• Thorough knowledge of UAE culture and protocols
• Good Leadership skills and ability to lead a team of resources to achieve the common goal (internal and external resources)
