Director Sales - Strategic Accounts - Oil & Gas, Energy (Emiratization Initiative)Our client, a Global MNC in Engineering & Automation industry is hiring a Director Sales - managing Strategic Accounts in the Oil & Gas, Energy Industry. (Emiratization Initiative - seeking Emirati Talent) - Abu Dhabi - UAE.
Role:
Responsible for developing and implementing account plans and statements of Work (SoW) growth actions.
Design and execute strategic business plans that drive profitable growth and meet both short-term and long-term HUB growth and organizational development targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic business plan expanding the partnership.
  • Understanding key business drivers, including emerging risks (e.g., sustainability, digital, cybersecurity), and interpreting impacts and opportunities.
  • Participating in developing sales strategies by providing insights into the customer\'s current and long-term plans.
  • Defining and proposing sales targets for the account, ensuring their achievement through structured follow-up across divisions and countries.
  • Selling products, solutions, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets.
  • Ensuring a coordinated sales approach adding value for both the customer and Company.
  • Monitoring competitors\' activities and formulating appropriate response strategies.
  • Providing input on market price developments.
  • Driving the application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools (e.g., Salesforce, account plans).
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering
  • 10 Years of experience in Account Management within Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities industry
  • Experience in portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and customer experience success.
  • Knowledge of regulation and legal compliance, pricing excellence, and budget and performance targets.
  • Expertise in account management, business development, and sales enablement.
  • Familiarity with general sales practices, solution/application sales engineering, and channel sales.
  • Proficiency in contract and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
