We are looking for an experienced business leader who has a proven track record from Oil and gas or process industry to head our sales and service in MENA Region. The role includes an overall P&L responsibility, strategic business planning, operations, key account management and legal compliance in this region. Your target is to enable and drive our business growth and develop our local organization.
In this position, you will report to the Vice President, MEIA. This position will be located in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.
Valmet's Flow Control (FC)Business Line is one of the leading providers of mission-critical flow control solutions and services for process industries. We employ about 2,850 people in approximately 40 countries. With our global team of experts and innovative solutions, we help our customers to improve their process performance and ensure the safe flow of materials.
As MENA Sub- Region Head, your main responsibility is to formulate the strategy to drive growing and building new profitable & sustainable valve business units. Drive orders, profitable growth and improve market participation for MENA FC business. Manage MENA Region P&L and financial goals (Orders, Sales, PM &CM) Lead, manage and develop the MENA Sales & Service team. To build and maintain an active network of strong working relationships in Valmet and customers. Identifies and meets potential customers to ascertain equipment, supplies, and service needs. To demonstrate a high level of HSE mindset and knowledge about HSE procedures and practices, applying this knowledge as a part of daily work routine Leading and being responsible for communicating and executing the strategy with the local organization and relevant stakeholders. Ensure legal compliance of company operation in the region.
Requirements
Your leadership-, communication-, technical and business skills allow you to set clear targets, delegate, and monitor performance effectively within your own team but also in our matrix organization to ensure strong accountability and delivery of development projects. You are first and foremost an engaging and energetic leader committed for renewal and continuous development.
You can demonstrate a strong technical leadership and understanding of Flow Control products in our customer's environment and by this ensuring customer satisfaction with high performance, profitable solutions.
Because of your capabilities to build relationships and trust, your customers would describe you as a valued partner. Your change mindset allows you to anticipate and respond quickly to customer needs and operate successfully in an ambiguous environment.
Requirements: Education: bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical/electronic/control& instrumentation, preferred), and 15 years sales experience of various equipment in Valves, automation Industry. Strong understanding of Flow Control industry and existing experience from Valve's customer is of necessity. Market and customer experience & exposure to Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemical and EPC contractors will be preferred. Be an effective team builder and problem solver, exhibiting a collaborative management style and the ability to bring out the best in people through example. be an excellent communicator who radiates compassion, integrity loyalty to Valmet's respective customers, partners, shareholders, and employees. Strong in networking and strategic skills Ability to build and leverage effective working relationships in a global matrix organization. Willingness and ability to travel. Middle East and North Africa market knowledge and prior similar experience will be an added advantage. Knowledge of key cultural aspects and ability to adapt leadership style accordingly.
