Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Gargash Hospital.

•Summary: •

The ideal candidate would work closely with medical staff, administrative personnel, and other stakeholders and be responsible for overseeing the hospital's operational performance as part of the hospital leadership team. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all departments are

(i) running smoothly, efficiently and performing in accordance with the agreed-on plans, and

(ii) initiating development strategies for long-term success of the hospital.

He/she will be responsible for assisting in increasing the patient volume through initiatives that lead to an increased visibility, the creation of new services, the expansion of existing ones and identifying and adopting new growth opportunities.

•Key Responsibilities: •

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing daily operational and capital budgets, ensuring smooth billing, efficient procurement of medical supplies, optimizing the use of resources, delivering enhanced revenue streams and strong financial performance, setting goals with the various relevant stakeholders that will ensure the growth of the hospital, developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of patient care as per the hospital and government requirements, ensuring that processes as well as patient and staff satisfaction indicators and metrics across the establishment are systematically and continuously monitored, measured, analyzed and optimized.

He/she will build strong physician liaison programs and act as the main facilitator of clear efficient communication and collaboration among different departments to ensure cohesive, multi-disciplinary and comprehensive healthcare services, offering the training programs and operational and scheduling digital platforms needed, to ensure optimal patient and physician outcome, satisfaction and retention and to decrease administrative burdens.

The Operations Director will also be accountable for quality management across the hospital and will oversee the maintenance and management of the hospital facilities and premises to ensure a physically and emotionally safe environment for patients and staff contributing to high level of satisfaction for the patients and engagement for the staff.

In addition, the Operations Director will contribute to the development of the hospital's business, growth, performance and competitiveness by identifying new partnerships and opportunities, increasing the patient base.

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

• Very Good Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...etc.)
• Effective & Efficient Communication Skills
• Ability to Work as an Efficient & effective Team Member Ability to Handle Projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English language
• Pro-active and able to successfully prioritize competing priorities
• Organized and able to work methodically.
• Able to efficiently multi-task
• The ability to effectively lead a professional team as well as receiving direction from the management
