Our client, having recently been awarded and successfully launched the national lottery in the UAE, is now seeking to appoint a Director of Security.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and protocols to safeguard the lottery's operations.
Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory standards governing gaming and lottery security.
Oversee fraud prevention programs and conduct investigations into security breaches, suspicious activities, or misconduct.
Manage and enhance cybersecurity measures to protect digital assets, customer data, and online gaming platforms.
Implement advanced surveillance and monitoring systems to ensure the security of lottery facilities, equipment, and personnel.
Collaborate with government agencies, law enforcement, and regulators to address security threats and legal requirements.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Lead crisis management and incident response efforts in cases of security breaches or operational threats.
Establish and oversee a security team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop awareness programs to educate employees on security policies, fraud prevention, and compliance measures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in gaming, financial services, or a regulated industry.
Proven track record in fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and physical security management.
Experience working with regulatory agencies and law enforcement bodies.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CPP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.
