Develop and implement performance metrics to measure operations effectiveness Manage resources (people, assets, information) across operations department. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies Ensure effective management processes (decision making, conflict resolution) at all levels of operations and projects. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, quality and to Streamline business processes to improve productivity Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements Communicate and build commitment to organizational policies, directives and procedures among internal and external key stakeholders Manage the implementation of operations policies, directives, and procedures Monitors the effectiveness of operations policies, directives, and procedures Review business/investment evaluations and reports (cost, ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period) Review prime contracts/bids to assist CEO in choosing projects/programs Define project/program requirements, objectives, customer expectations, and present to CEO Review and manage project/program plans, budgets, resources, and schedules for profitability and contract compliance
