The Role
\xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate the Dean\'s office and under Dean\'s guidance manage various initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop, execute and manage the College of Food and Agriculture strategic plan following recent structural reorganization, \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate evaluation of current academic programs and development/launch of new programs, \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee development of a new trans-disciplinary research and outreach plan for the college \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and manage diverse student initiatives including internships/study abroad \xe2\x80\xa2 Establish alumni connectivity and strengthen industry relationship \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring effective communication across units. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review, finalize and monitor College budget \xe2\x80\xa2 Research and provide substantive and analytic information, and advise on decision making \xe2\x80\xa2 Represent Dean in meetings and on committees as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Filter correspondence and compose responses on behalf of the Dean

Requirements
Minimum Qualification \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Management and Education or allied field Preferred Qualification \xe2\x80\xa2 Master degree is a plus Expected Skills/Rank/Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with strategic planning, monitoring, stakeholder management, communications, and fiscal operations (planning and management) \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to plan, organize and work collaboratively with diverse professional entities \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in career development, student activities or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated excellence in leadership and managerial skills and the capacity to influence, guide, lead, and coordinate across a highly diverse team \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated record of effective communication, including experience with memo writing, speeches, messaging, and presentations \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent listening, analyzing and advising skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good judgment, discretion, independence and initiative.
