With a presence in 30 countries and a team of 1,600 employees worldwide, it is a truly global organization committed to redefining the beauty industry.As the Director, International Commercial Marketing & Business Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial marketing strategies and business excellence across all Orveon brands globally. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) International and Regional Business Development Directors (BDDs), you will be instrumental in shaping the brand's international success. Your role will be to:
Review, deploy and customize the Global Plans in the Regions
Work with the Global International Marketing Integrator Team to develop ad Hoc Commercial and Marketing Projects which could not necessarily have a Global Scope
Lead local projects of developing marketing activities and product development with local relevancy
Work together with International Director Business Planning to support the CRO and the Brands President to Develop Performance Marketing KPIs for the international marketing ecosystem
Build a marketing activities monthly report to be shared with the CRO, the Regions and the Global Team
Work together with the BDDs monitoring the spending of the A&P within the Business Partners Price Structures
Work with the Global Digital Team to roll out the DTC and Other Online channels Internationally
Attend Global Innovation monthly meetings
Drive Retail Excellence through excellent store design and visual merchandising execution as well as implementation of luxe services protocol and improve client relationship management process
Enhance training module to escalate the service and productivity level of retail staff
Work together with the Creative Team to develop the best and most cost effective VM Executions in the Regions
BUSINESS STRATEGY & PLANNING
Support the BDDs to develop their local Marketing Plans
Participate in the Regions and Market business reviews
Support the International Marketing Integrator in creating relevant products & programs fit for use for the international markets
Consolidate & share with the International marketing integrator feedback received from Regional Hubs related to future launches / activations in a timely manner
Monitor International competitive marketing activities and provide insights to Global functions and across international teams
Provide input on local pricing strategy
Act as the point of contact to remove obstacles to international business operations. (i.e. regulatory issues, creative operations/usage extensions, etc.)
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Support the International Marketing Integrator in working closely with key markets in leading projects to create and launch new product that leverage local insights, analytics, and trends
Partner with International Marketing Integrator to coordinate the development of Commercial Programs to meet KCP and market needs
DIGITAL / SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Work together with the International Marketing Integrator to drive the Global Digital team in developing assets fit for use for the International Business Development
Implement and cascade International guidance in line with the directions given by the CRO and Brand President.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
Work together with the International Marketing Integrator and the Creative Team to develop a Cost Effective and Fit For Use VM Proposition for the international markets
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in multiple geographies and Global/Regional Roles - leading a similar role at the same level
The role is Dubai based, willingness to relocate to Dubai is a must
Strong Commercial and Marketing Working Experience in the Beauty industry - specifically Make-Up
Experience working with Global Teams and collaborating across multiple geographies
Experience working with Distributors as well as Developing and Leading Retail Excellence Programs with an Omni-Channel approach
High Level of Flexibility in working with multiple time zones and with the direct boss remotely located as well as flexibility to travel around 20% of the time * Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of energy with ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal and external teams
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact. Ability to communicate fluently, both spoken and written English. Other languages would be considered a plus
A strategic and critical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate a vision with precision, enthusiasm and passion
Agility and Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and navigate effectively in complex and ambiguous situations
